We are seeking to appoint an experienced Pupil Support Officer to work alongside our current friendly and close knit team to support students who are disaffected with school or who have been permanently excluded.  You will be required to work in local schools, as part of our Outreach Team, supporting students at their current mainstream school or on a programme to reintegrate students back to school.   Previous primary experience is essential of working with students in a supporting role, together with outstanding behaviour management skills.  It is essential that candidates are Team Teach trained or willing to undertake training.

We are a multi-site Alternative Provision for children and young people with complex needs and we provide a vital service to the families and schools of Hounslow.  We are proud of our service and we need inspirational, patient trailblazers who believe that every child matters and who will never give up on our amazing pupils.  We need kind-hearted, compassionate people who want to commit to changing lives for the better.

We can offer a varied professional experience, thanks to our many diverse sites – no two days are the same.  We can also offer outstanding professional development with a dedicated training programme and planned investment in staff development.  We place a high regard and focus on staff wellbeing having recently been awarded the NEU Workload Charter Status and we offer all staff six early finish days per school year to support their wellbeing.  You will work 32.5 hours per week, term time only.  It is essential that you own a car and have use of a car due to the outreach work that you will need to undertake.
