The majority of Primary first teaching appointments in Hounslow schools are made through our 'Primary Pool.' This service, managed by the Teacher Recruitment Team is accessible to all Hounslow Primary Schools and Headteachers are involved in all stages of the recruitment process.
Hounslow has built a solid reputation for the quality of support, advice and training offered to those starting their teaching careers, central to this being our Induction Programme. OFSTED praised Hounslow for its monitoring, support and assessment of NQTs and we continue to improve our NQT provision.

NQT Open Event
The 2012 Open Event will take place at Hounslow Education Centre on Thursday 26th January 2012.
How To Apply
The NQT Primary Pool 2012 opens on Thursday 24th November 2011 and closes on Tuesday 28th February 2012.
Shortlisting will take place and successfully short-listed applicants will be invited for interview during March.
If you are successful at interview and "recommended" to the Pool, your details will be released to our Primary Schools in April 2012. Schools will then be in contact with you concerning possible appointment.
